All our Pilates classes are taught by a Physiotherapist to offer a more personal rehabilitation approach. All exercises can be broken down in to various levels to suit the individual.
We cater for the beginner through to the more advanced. Some classes will use small equipment such as small balls, Swiss balls and foam rollers.
All mats and small equipment are provided, although if we do use Swiss balls then you may like to bring your own along.
Pilates works on strengthening the core muscles as well as improving posture and breathing. It can especially be very beneficial for those who have suffered from back injuries or are generally feeling stiff and weak. We encourage people to incorporate the principles of Pilates in to everyday life. Just by improving your posture and using your core when doing activities around the house or garden, you can really make a huge impact on injury prevention as well as enabling you to be able to do more of what you love.
Pilates classes in Burton, Christchurch are £10 each. They are all Physio-led Pilates classes and we work in monthly blocks to encourage commitment to the programme so you will see and feel the improvements and benefits.
Classes are limited to 8 maximum so we can offer a more personalised approach.
